Rhoda Osei-Afful is the Research Assistant Coordinator for the Elite Africa Project and a PhD student in the Department of Political Science, University of Toronto, where she is studying public policy and comparative politics. Prior to commencing her PhD studies, she worked as a senior research analyst and team leader for elections and anti-corruption programming at the Ghana Center for Democratic Development, a research and advocacy think-tank based in Ghana. Rhoda’s professional and research interests include democracy and governance in Africa, elections, gender, and inclusive development. Over the past ten years, she has worked extensively to support electoral integrity initiatives in Ghana and Nigeria and in other parts of Africa.
